FIA, NE celebrated Valentine day by paying respect & honour to senior citizens

At Shri Lakshmi Temple in Ashland, MA, FIA-NE celebrated Valentine’s Day by showing respect and honour to elderly people and hosting a group puja to celebrate marriage anniversaries, love, and bonding. Four seniors were honoured: Babulal Patel, Shardaben Patel, Vijaya Laxmi Kavsari, and Kaushi Patel.

Rakesh Kavsari and Deepti Kavsari celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary, while Deepak Rathore and Anu Rathore celebrated their twenty-first wedding anniversary. Shova Sharma (VP FIA, NE) Gautam Patel (FIA-Join Treasurer) greets everyone, and Anand Sharma (FIA-Chair Volunteer Committee) and Geena Virmani thank everyone. The pooja archna was attended by Pankaj & Sunita Adaval, Abhishek & Jyoti Singh, Deepak & Chakshu Sharam, Gaurav & Kajal Dixit, Ashwani & Geena Virmani, Gautam & Yogeshwari Patel, Anand & Meenu Sharma. According to Kaushik Patel, this is a one-of-a-kind effort conducted by the FIA, NE team on Valentine’s Day that would foster love and affection in families and assist generations form strong bonds. Shri Krishna Bhatta, the temple priest, officiated over all of the ceremonies

The NE region was in need of a true grassroots non-profit organization for the Indian American diaspora. The formation of FIA NE will ensure that community initiatives and issues more core to the Indian American community in the region get due attention.
